Completing multi-step quests in Arc Raiders requires careful planning, keen environmental awareness, and effective inventory management. Among these tasks, the Dust on the Wires quest presents a multi-stage challenge located across the hazardous Spaceport map. Players must investigate the fate of a missing scout party and safely extract critical evidence back to Speranza.

Starting the Mission at the Spaceport Field Depot

To initiate the primary objectives for Dust on the Wires, players need to drop into the Spaceport map and locate an active Field Depot. These small structures are situated on the eastern side of the territory, providing a safe starting point to begin tracking the missing squad.

Inside the depot, interact with the desktop terminal or field radio to transmit the scout group's last known log to Shani. Successfully sending this data updates your mission parameters and directs you to the next investigation point.

Investigating the Old Raider Tower

With the initial log transmitted, your journey continues toward the old Raider Tower located north of the Maintenance Hangar. This makeshift scrap structure stands out clearly in the environment, making it relatively easy to spot from a distance.

Ascend the exterior stairs to reach the top platform of the tower and access the computer terminal. Interacting with this device relays the next portion of the scout report back to headquarters, confirming the trajectory of the missing team.

Tracking Scout Traces and Recovering Clues

After leaving the tower, descend back toward the road on the southwest side of the Maintenance Hangar. Here, players will discover signs of a violent struggle scattered near overturned trolleys along the path.

First, interact with the wreckage prompt to transmit the precise location of the skirmish. Then, inspect the secondary wreckage nearby to search for physical evidence left behind by the scouts.

Securing the Scout Note and Extracting

Searching the debris yields the crucial Scout Patrol Note required to finish the entire questline. Because losing this item forces you to restart the quest, placing it directly into an equipped Safety Pocket is highly recommended.

Once the item is securely stowed, make your way immediately to the nearest extraction zone. Returning safely to Speranza allows you to deliver the note to Shani and claim your rewards.
